Happy Halloween! I am manning my usual post in the entryway with my silver bowl of candy awaiting trick or treaters. But, alas, I have only had two, and they were friends who were coming to trick or treat with the girls so, they don't count. Bad news for me, but good news for you that I have time to post some halloween pics.
You may be wondering where Macie is in all these pictures. I, too, was eagerly anticipating how cute she was going to be in her costume this year. However, much to my chagrin and definitely not due to my lack of persuading, her official position on Halloween this year is she is NOT participating and she is NOT dressing up. She is upstairs sleeping right now. She did tell Isabelle, however, that she will let Isabelle share her candy with her and sad thing--sweet Isabelle agreed. Nice.

She didn't want to participate! Stop the presses Gretchen! Know what? Kaish has always hated getting dressed up too. I force him but I feel like that may soon be coming to an end : (. He flat out refused to wear the pirate costume he wore for the school parade. He wore a sweatshirt of Gary's and called himself a gangster... and he also told me to always remain at least 3 houses away from where he was trick or treating. This growing up thing is so delightful(or not). The girls are so cute. I miss the baby pictures though.
I am glad you are posting again. I miss you when you don't. You are one of my very favorite bloggers.
and P.S. LOVE the pumpkins. We didn't do them this year. I don't know what kind of mothering I have been doing lately. Clearly it hasn't been up to par...
