I am the first to admit that I am totally gullible and believe many absolutely absurd things that I am told. But I was told that the size of the squirrels in the fall is a good way to determine the length and severity of the winter to come. You know, because God provides extra nuts for them to eat in the fall to survive the winter. (Go ahead and mock me--I can take it) =). Now it may be coincidence, but the creepy albino squirrel that lives in my neighborhood was so chubby this fall and now it is March 31st and we are supposed to get 4-8 inches of snow. I don't know...seems kinda interesting to me...
Heed the squirrels people!

Gretchen,

I love your outlook on things!!! That is pretty funny. We are finally starting to see signs of spring here but are getting a lot of rain. Hang in there. That squirll is bound to lose weight sometime.

God Bless,
Karen

You have an ALBINO squirrel in your neighborhood? What kind of place is this Minnesota? Actually we have R.O.U.S.'s (as in princess bride). Our groundhogs look scarily like those things from the movie and they walk through our backyard all the time. I'm a city girl and didn't sign on for oversize animals!

Oh, I was SO happy to see a new story here today. I would like to see a new story every day. Could you please step it up? Great! An albino squirrel sounds so cool! I think winter is ending soon. It is going to be 70 degrees here tomorrow. Kaishon already has his shorts laid out for school. He laid them out on Saturday night when I read in the paper that it was going to be 70 on Tuesday. He is funny. Hope you are having a FABULOUS MONDAY.

I say let's just run the darn squirrel over, and then we won't have to worry about winter any longer!!

Maybe he followed them over here one night or something, but that is the first one I have ever seen in my life and I am so afraid of it. I think it hates me. I tried to take a picture of it last year, but I would never go close enough to it to get a good one.

You are so funny! I love your positive outlook. For those who don't quite understand Mn even if it snows in April we need to be thankful for the farmers sake any moisture is good moisture for them(being the farm girl that I am or was or whatever)
